Blessed Edward Transition

Headteachers Letters and Updates

29 th April 2020

Dear
I hope this letter finds you well and coping with working from home instead of being inschool. I know you will be sad to be away from your friends in Year 6 and also missing your teachers. In a couple of weeks, you should have been taking your SATs and you may feel that all your hard work has been wasted, however I can assure you it has not. Your teacher
knows you well and they will be sending us through information on how you have been progressing through Year 6. This will help us get to know you quickly and help you settle in at Blessed Edward’s.
Normally we would have a transition day for you this term where you would get to meet your form tutor and get a feel for a typical college day. This will not be happening this year, however most of you have visited the college before perhaps at Open Evening or for a sports event so will already have a strong sense of what Blessed Edward’s feels like.Like you we do not know yet when the current situation will change but please be assured
that your place at Blessed Edward’s is secure. We will be in touch again before the end of term with a further update on your transition to Year 7. In the meantime, stay safe, be kind to people and keep doing the work being set by your Year 6 teacher. If you have any questions about transition please feel free to email me at office@blessededward.co.uk
With every best wish
